The Amazing Spider-man "The Untold Story Begins"

The new spider-man movie? Well ,for me the plot was a lot like the Spiderman 2 movie. The Doctor Octopus movie. There was this brilliant doctor turned bad then turned good. But hey, that's spider-man brand of superhero movie.
I was really expecting that the story will be darker like the Dark Knight Movies that I have watched, but it wasn't so.  I was teen-spidy growing up with a lot of issues.(who hasn't).There was the occasional bully versus nerd-spidy and of course the payback. The love story that we are familiar with was a bit interesting. It didn't took 3 movies for the girl to learn about the true identity of Spider-man. Spider-man's identity was out in the open for this first one.  It was really like a retelling of the story of spider-man in a different version. It was a teen spider-man growing up burdened with the mystery about his parents disappearance. Well, I was expecting that at the end Peter Parker will discover the truth about his parents and their disappearance but not so. It was still a mystery and there was this bonus scene that would hint of a coming sequel ( of course it has a sequel !!!).

I watched it in IMAX 3d and believe me the graphics  were   incredible. The 3D sequences were amazing.   Things just kept popping up in the    screens. The CGI  animations were almost flawless. The animators have done an excellent job. What I also like about this version is spider-man's over use  of his "Electronic web generator" as I call it. I really don't know what it's called but it was pretty cool in the action sequences. For me, it's much way cooler that spider-man is using some sort of a device in his webs than just webs bursting out in his wrist. Well, overall it was an awesome movie to watch.

NOKIA N808 "The Experience"

Nokia N808 was a pleasant but not so that amazing experience. Well, you can never go wrong with a cellphone packed with 41mp Carl Zeiss lens with Pureview imaging technology. I took many photos with it and believe me the pictures it took was amazing. The details were very impressive even cropped at 100% magnification. With Pureview imaging technology, it's squeezing 7 pixels into one. It's like a downsizing algorithm that Nokia created just for this device.  Nokia is really ahead in this territory. It has the usual specification a  smartphone has. Video recording is HD capable and has HDMI port that you can connect to your TV monitors. Really the downside of this device is it's OS. I was not surprised that Nokia choose to run it under Symbian OS. I was really hoping that Nokia would jump to Windows OS for this device. Pureview plus Windows, that would really be something. It would be a phone to be reckoned with. But maybe, in the future, Nokia will come up with a device that has Pureview Imaging Technology and runs in Windows OS. That would be a blockbuster. But lets keep our fingers crossed and may be, just maybe that device will be available in the near future. Camera wise, Nokia N808 is really great in every way possible for a handy camera. Pictures taken will not rival of that a DSLR would but way ahead over any compact cameras available in the market. Well, that's just me....

Sample Pictures Below:

I took these pictures using Nokia N808.. This was a photograph and a painting displayed inside a mall.

Just a random picture I took.....
